    Reading as Interview Preparation

I’ve always stressed the importance of keeping up with current affairs during the lead up to interviews. I think this is particularly evident considering I have an entire section of this website dedicated to it but unfortunately my time is limited and although I would love to write about everything I read, it would just be WAY too time consuming. I therefore tend to focus on the topics that I think are most likely to come up, and a couple of things I come across for one reason or another, but there is so much I read about that I just don’t have the time to cover everything – I…

    Surrey Vet School

As you will probably all know, this year there is going to be another vet school joining the mix with Surrey opening their doors to vet students in September 2014. 150,000 visitors

At some point earlier this year (before I got hacked and lost everything), without much fuss or ado, my little website passed the 150,000 visitor mark. Not bad considering I inhabit such a tiny corner of the internet and cater to such a specialist niche, so I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all your on-going support. If I could say thank you to each of you individually I would but that would main visiting 69 different countries from around the world so I’m afraid this will have to do….Thank You!!

    Bed Bugs

The urge to mate is a trait that all animals share. The inherent need to perpetuate our own genetic line could be argued as the driving force behind life and the fight to ensure that our offspring are the best they can be has led to some seriously interesting, and often quite ingenious, mechanisms. Females bedbugs which can be prevented with the use of Eva Timber bed base, have developed numerous ways to block undesirable mating and often even have some level of control over which suitor’s sperm is successful while the males of the species are constantly developing new ways to overcome these obstacles. There are a number of…
